Founded on April 4, 2018, the company is headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with staffed offices in Longview, Texas, and Billings, Montana, and field personnel working across the Permian Basin and East Texas.

JH Operating Company has maintained zero OSHA-recordable incidents since its founding in 2018.

History

2018 – JH Operating Company, LLC formally founded, succeeding an earlier holding company that consolidated multiple previous entities.
2019 – Delivered its first major upstream facility project; delivered its first major SWD project.
2020 – Supported a major client by following three rigs in the Midland Basin, providing full EPCm projects for a private equity-backed operator.
2021 – Expanded operations into the Delaware Basin, supporting a two-rig development. Full EPCm projects for a private equity-backed operator.
2022 – Launched the internal PMT (Project Management Tool) platform.
2023 – PMT expanded internally; additional project controls, schedules, digital job books, and cost management functions integrated.
2024 – PMT was made accessible to clients, and the Transparent EPCm model was launched. Continued growth in rigs followed in the Permian Basin now greater than 10.
2025 – Expanded operations into East Texas, supporting a two-rig development program and multiple gathering and facility projects.
