THE TEAM

Bart Hannaman President and Petroleum Engineering

Mr. Hannaman graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering and a minor in Business Administration. His career with ConocoPhillips started as the primary Production Engineer in the Eagle Ford during the Company’s high pace transition from appraisal to field development. He was responsible for well and artificial lift design with significant influence on the field’s surface infrastructure strategy. He then took a leadership role in Integrated Operations, a team focused on business process improvements and big data analytics within the Eagle Ford. Later he relocated to Billings, MT to lead a similar Integrated Operations effort for the Bakken asset and manage the Bakken Operations Center, a team responsible for managing all wells, production, field alarms and artificial lift optimization.
Mr. Hannaman started JH in 2018 to realize his vision of business ownership, where he could be close to the action technically and develop deep and lasting relationships in the industry. He enjoys the challenges and excitement of helping others tackle their challenges and pursue their dreams. Working with a handpicked team, he has diligently grown and enhanced various facets of the business, instilling a culture of client service through embodying the Company’s core values of extreme ownership, ultra transparent, and crazy efficient.

Karla Orth a Facility Engineer in Montana

Karla Orth Vice President Engineering

Upon receiving her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University, Mrs. Orth began her career as a Facilities Engineer in the Permian Basin with ConocoPhillips. She later moved to Billings, Montana to support the Bakken program. Mrs. Orth oversaw new facility builds and played a key role in designing the company’s first bulk and test separation site in the Bakken. Subsequently, she assumed the position of Development Engineer, providing crucial facilities guidance for long-term development planning and strategy discussions. Under her leadership, a multidisciplinary team successfully implemented gas lift for Bakken wells, including those with diverse ownership.
Since joining the JH team in 2019, Mrs. Orth has worked on numerous full field development projects including SWDs and production facilities around the country but with a focus in the Permian Basin, both in the Delaware and the Midland. As a technical leader at JH she has continued to ensure safe & compliant designs. She has a passion for creating a culture centered on helping clients and JH realize their goals.

Shannon Littlepage Director of Construction and Inspection

Mr. Littlepage began his career in industrial construction as a roustabout with Chinn Exploration building conventional production batteries. Later, he founded his Journey Oilfield Supply a company providing supplies to the industrial sector. Mr. Littlepage then went on to provide oversight as an Inspector/Coordinator for some of the largest companies in the industry, including Marathon Petroleum, Kinder Morgan and Momentum Midstream. He was involved with and lead the construction of PHMSA and non-PHMSA pipelines, amine regeneration gas plants, and production batteries.
Since joining the JH team in 2022, Mr. Littlepage has proven himself in the field and is now managing all field services. He is leveraging his 20 years of experience, to foster a service-oriented culture at JH based on quality, effective communication, and construction efficiencies.
